How do I unpack my painting/giclee/print?

Paintings are crated in heavy-duty cardboard boxes or sometimes in wooden crates, with screws. When opening, please handle with care and follow the instructions on the crate for opening directions. If it is a wooden crate, there will be a notice of which side to unscrew first.

Our giclees/prints are rolled in glassine/non-stick paper, which is taped closed with a very sticky tape. Please be gentle when opening the tape so as not to damage the giclee/print. We recommend keeping it in the mailing tube until you deliver it to the framer, so that it doesn’t get squashed or crumpled.
